8Dweb WordPress Update & Caching Policy Changes – Effective March 1, 2025
To enhance security and performance, 8Dweb will enforce the following changes:
???? Weekly WordPress Updates – Starting in 2025, WordPress Core, Themes, and Plugins will be updated every Monday, with additional updates for critical vulnerabilities.
???? Removal of Insecure Plugins – Any plugins that are outdated and flagged as security risks will be automatically removed.
???? Standardized Caching Plugin – Beginning March 1, 2025, the only caching plugin allowed on our CMSdefender shared hosting platform will be Litespeed Cache (LSCache). All other caching plugins will be automatically removeddaily.
???? REDIS Object Caching Activation – To further improve site performance, REDIS caching will be enabled for all WordPress sites, and LSCache will be automatically installed.
